Comparing

Okay, as what i posted before, i promised that i will give you a detailed review regarding the differences and somehow the similarities of my two touch phone screen which is LG optimus one and iPhone 3Gs. I will based the comparison of my two phone based on my experience and not on the others. So this time, please take note that you may be experiencing things different compared to me.

LG optimus one, otherwise known as LG P500, released last year and it was one of the coolest Android phone that you can upgrade its OS (Operating System) from Froyo to Gingerbread. When i first purchased my Lg phone, it came with a 2GB microsd and i know it was not enough for me, so i have decided to take the 8GB which is fair enough, since i am an apps addict and i will get everything i want, as long as i like it. 

My LG P500 has a kernel version of 2.6.32.9 and i think this is an old version since there is already a newer version for the kernel. What is good about the phone is that all the applications in the LG world are free and some in android  market as well which is already initially installed in your phone. All the apps that i needed is that i can find it in the LG world, such as Nursing drug handbook, Angry birds and others. When it comes to Wifi connection and bluetooth, it can connect to anyone you like. What is most interesting as well is that you can browse the website in a matter of milliseconds, and it supports a lot of mobile web url and for the touch screen as well.

In addition, when you connect to certain sites in your LG browser which is powered by Google, it is adjusting the web according to your phone, which is pretty nice. Regarding the use of the message inbox, at first i was having hard time using the phone inbox, since i was used to this classic version of my Nokia N95 phone which i thought was way lot more easier. But later on, i realized that it is not so difficult to use at all, it will always take time to learn the features of your phone and it does not happen over night.

What else do i miss? Hmmm, i think these are the only basic things i can see that is very useful, i will not go into detailing the specification of the phone since you can find that one in certain websites in your personal computer or lap top.

With iphone 3Gs, the only glitches that i find or i can say glitch is that, the bluetooth is not working, which is so disappointing. The reason could be that apple inc., intentionally made the bluetooth inoperable due to minimize the sharing of files or what? I can not think of anything. The apps are totally nice as well, since you can play the Sims 3, however, it is pretty dare to purchase and most of the free apps are not that very nice at all. One of my unhappy moments with the iphone is that you can not get any apps from shared forum, if you want to do it, you need to jailbreak your phone which is a pain in the ass, since it will void the warranty. Another down side of the iphone is that, when you connect to your wifi at home or to any place, it uploads the site so so so so slow, i could say it has the slowest connection at all. However, with most of the negative issue i find with my iphone, i still love it, since aside from it is pretty dare to purchase just for a gadget, it is very useful at all and it has some apps that Android phone does not have, such as the wonderful radar weather.

Anyway, i had been planning to have a nice Android phone, so i was thinking of getting the Eclair or Froyo. Unlucky i was, i never had a chance to keep some money for that phone, so there it was i was so sad when i was not able to get the Samsung Jet. But hold on, i asked my mum if she could buy me a phone, of course my mum would not buy one for me. She gave me an idea to sell all my phone, hmmm, that was a good idea and really good, i could tell. SO i started selling my phone in ebay. Too bad, it took me more than 5 days and there was still no one buying or bidding for my phones. 

s i lost my hope, someone bought my Nokia 2680s and he paid me through paypal and i was so happy, then there it was, after 3 days 2 men bought my Nokia N95-3 and my Torque DQ700 and i was so happy with it. So i was thinking of having four more thousands to buy a phone so it will take me 2 months to have it. 

Ising and I roamed around the mall and we accidentally went back to this LG store, actually it was not by accident, I really asked Ising to go inside the store. Before i was able to talk, Gigie, the friend of Ising told me that will be having a sale for LG Optimus P500, which was 30% off, so i said okay. Since i am not so intrigued with its feature, i told her if they accept credit card and they told me yes.

So when we went home, i searched on Youtube all the reviews about the phone. And the screen display was not that really good and some of the features were so unfamiliar to me. So i have three days to think of it, since the sale was on the 18th of December. I asked Ising if i should buy it, he told me back it was up to me. So i asked my big brother if he can lend me some money and i'll pay it after 3 days, since i could not withdraw my money in Paypal yet. It was a miracle that he sent me a message "yes", so i got excited and i could not sleep.

I had my duty on that day of 18th, so i have decided not to render work, since the sale will be in the morning only. So there it was our supervisor did not allowed me to leave for that day, but instead put me in the afternoon shift.

It was sleeping time now, and i could not sleep, i called my brother to make sure he has money in the card and asked Ising to go with me.

The day had came to its final day, i woke up at around 8 am since i told  my brother to go in the mall at 10 in the morning. Ising sent me a message through phone that he will be in the mall before 10 am. So i drove our car from our garage and then fetch my brother. I waited for my brother outside their gate for 10 minutes and told me that i will go ahead since they will bring their own car, geeh! But it was okay, so i drove hurriedly since the sale will only last for 2 hours and only 50 items will be sold. Then when i was near the mall, Ising texted me that they do not allow credit card, so i texted him back, i do not have cash. What i did was, i took the money of my mum in the ATM and told Ising okay i have the money now.

Then when we where in the store, i asked Gigie, why they do not accept CC, but then they gave me a hint that they will allow me, only me. I was so happy.

NOW, i have my dream phone, the LG Optimus P500 Android Froyo. I am enjoying it right now and i am so happy, it is my Christmas gift to myself. I really did thanked God for it. And i will always.By the way, the color of my phone is red and it is pretty nice and neat and guess what, new and free application and would even allow me to call using yahoo messenger in my phone. I LOVE IT.
