Himamaylan Trip

It was Friday night when Aying, Ising and I decided to go with Coning and the Korean friends of her. The agreement was that we will only stay in there until 4:00 p.m since Ising will have a duty in the hospital at 10 p.m and Aying had some thing to do and I just wanted to go with them.

Saturday morning,it was the 1st of May when i woke up at around 8:00 a.m, i did not panicked even though that we will meet at around 8:45 in the morning since the bus terminal is just 15 minutes from home. Ising called me up and asked me if where i am, i told him that I am still at home and eating my breakfast, after my morning snack, i went out at around 8:40 a.m and i just walked from our house to where i can catch a jeepney,since i did not have any coins in my pocket. When i arrived in the station, i saw Ising and Mhel talking to each other and I just stood up for how many minutes since i did not want to sit down. Coning called me and i handed in the phone to Ising and I think coning was asking if when would the air conditioned bus will arrive or depart. So i asked the old guy and he told me that he was not sure, since the bus will be at around 10:00 in the morning going to Himamaylan. There was a call i think or a text message from Coning that we will just wait in the station instead because they were coming to get us, so we thought maybe they rented a bus which was on it's way to the terminal, a mini coaster, a Van-hire (V-hire)and we were just laughing because we were all thinking of the different types of vehicle that we can think of.

So there we go, coning arrived with all here students, when i type students it does not mean that they were young people, actually their age ranges from 20 to 40, since they are here to study English and i think May 1 was the culmination day, of combining culture together and maybe both culture will going to hold on together, like the future dreams of the scientist (making atom attract each other). Let me go back to the real event, we traveled from the City going to the other city which took us i think approximately an hour and half, since we had a slow trip in Bago City due to road constructions.

Like the song lyric says, the sun is hot in the sky, like a giant spotlight and the sun was really hot but lucky for me the sun was not shining on the side of the jeepney where i was sitting, since i really hate sun (not really that i do not like sunshine). When we arrived in Coning's house, we all had our lunch i guess and i was really full with what i ate in there and then we went upstairs where the other two rooms were and we stayed there since we would like to cool down our body that was cooling our body system that made our outer body feeling hot We played Tekken, it was a 3d game like Street Fighter and i really like that game and i already finished all the part of that game since i am a computer game addict.

While in the room sitting, Coning was coming back and forth, giving a bowl of popcorn a pitcher of juice (i think it was orange mango) and while the rest of us where just inside the room.

I really do not know if i wrote this already that our plan was supposedly to go home at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, since the Koreans where just going to start cooking, so we need to decide if we stay or not. AYing tried to call her parents to ask permission to sleep over in the place while Ising contacted the hospital where he would inform the hospital that he will not go to work, and me of course, i did not do anything, i did not even touch my phone since the two did not made any decisions yet if we will stay or home.

I think it was half past four in the afternoon when we went down stairs, where Emily, Tiffany,Moon and Yoon were preparing for the foods that they will serve in the dinner, they were prapering Korean foods, they have these lettuce, porks, carrots and many other ingredients. In our side, we sat beside the table and prepared for the cheese stick wrapped in a molo wrapper, with the help of Aying, Ising, Evan, Sarah, and i think Emily, while Coning was so busy with giving the ingredients.

After everything was finished, i think we went to the seashore, where they wanted to catch the sunset, i really did not knew why they like sunset, i really do not like sunset (lols), it is not that i am having blue experiences but i just do not like it, or maybe because when i was a small kid, i was having a holiday in the beach every summer time, that's why i did not mind it anymore (fed up).

We went back from the beach where we had picture taking and then I think we ate dinner, and something went wrong, the power was overloaded and i think we lost power in the middle of the house while outside there was still lights everywhere,however, darkness can not stopped us from eating our dinner, since we were eating Korean and Filipino delicacy together.

When our dinner was finished we went to the plaza where the students of Coning played basketball and she also played with them, and we (Mhel, Ising, Aying and I) just sat in the bench and watching them...


I will have the other part of the story maybe two days form now, since i am so lazy to type in my computer... ROFL

Korean Novela

7th April 2010

Actually, this is not Korean novela, but this would be all about the dinner set by Coning. Remember this dinner was free of charge. I was supposedly to meet Tigi in Sm at around 5.00 p.m and then she texted me that we will meet instead at 5.20 pm., i did not reply since i did not have any credits on my phone. So i picked up Ising's sister-in-law and nieces in Mansilingan, then i hurriedly cooked for the initial ingredients of the chicken tinola. Then, i told Ising to tell his relative to continue the cooking of my tinola. So when i checked my phone, there was one miscalled from Tigi and a bunch of messages, i really forgot that i left my phone inside the car. So, i texted Tigi back, sine she transferred a two pesos credit from her phone to my phone. I texted her that we will be going to SM now.

When we arrived in Sm, we waited for her in front of Sun Cellular branch outlet. At that time i felt dizzy and i really did not knew what was wrong with me. Tigi arrived, and then we took a cab, Tigi paid for the fare, what a rich tiny insect. So we arrived in Aboy's, it is a restaurant located in the area of Golden field (the entertainment center of the city). Ising and Tigi were both hungry and so both of them were pushing each other if who will be the one to tell coning if what to order first. So, there it goes, Tigi and Ising, talked to Coning, and Coning told them that they can order ahead. They both stood up and look for the foods, but then they came back with the words and type of foods in the top bench. I think, they were able to order foods that they wanted when it was 5 minutes before Coning and her students arrived.

When i went out from the toilet room, i saw Tigi, talking to Coning and some Korean people, i did not knew which one was Coning students. Everybody sat in the long table, with almost 15 chairs or maybe it was 16 chairs and the table was covered with different Filipino cuisines and Philippine made soft soda. Coning, started introducing her students and friends to us (Ising,Tigi and I), Coning told us that we need to memorize all their names, but sorry, i was not able to hold any names when Coning introduced all her Korean friends. Maybe i was not very attentive and i hate memorizing their names since i find it hard to memorized. We started eating, and then this guy, Sun (Ji Hoo), started talking together with this Street fighter name Ken, to me. At first, i had honestly hard time listening to them, but then when things went smoothly and i learned that i should use very basic English, things went well. What amuses me was that, when Sun told us that, our pancit canton which is named extra spicy is not that spicier. So i told him that it would be spicier if you were going to add this little chili pepper, i told him you can have this, and i really did not expect that he would ate it. Tigi, Ising and I were staring at him, and then he slowly told us that it was spicy and "i hate you, i hate you" (of course in a funny way, not that serious).

There was another thing that i was confused, Sun asked me if what was my international age. Honestly, i really did not knew what they mean, since there was no such thing as international age, but i only knew that Chinese has different calendar age as what my uncle told me. So i assumed that they mean, how old i am, so i said i am 28 years old, suddenly Sun told me that Oh we were both 28, you are my brother and then he said something in Korean, which of course i forgot what it was. We had a usual conversation of knowing the stranger, then Gu Jun Pyu (Hanzel) sat beside Ji hoo and they were making a joke, that where was his Gretel, it was Jun Pyu that asked us, then i pointed Jan Di (tigi) that she was the Gretel (LOLZ).

Things need to end, conversation need to be end up, since most of us need to go home before 10 o'clock in the evening. So we got separated by time and place again.

It was a nice dinner with a foreign person, at least, i learned that Asian people are much fun to be with than Caucasian, just a perception. Because, we can have simple jokes, and we could understand each other, divided by culture and beliefs, but somehow connected with simple communication. And also, i noted that, although Asians were that old or in their 20's, they can still have fun like teenagers.
