Grieving

I woke up late this morning. When i was about to cook our breakfast at around 10.30 am, there was no power (black out). Then my uncle told me that Prince, my cute cuddly shi-poo was weak and could barely walk. So i went outside and look at him, he was lying under our car and did not respond to any verbal stimulus. So i pulled him out under the car and looked at him, he was really really weak. I find so many fleas and ticks on his body. So i hurriedly mixed the medicine that would kill the ticks and other parasites outside his body. Then my uncle gave me a towel, i told him that Prince should stay wet so that the medicine would kill the parasite.

It was late afternoon, when i just had my siesta when i went back to Prince and he seems to be all right and gaining his energy back. The other good sign was that when i call his name he wiggles his tail.
The last time I saw him drinking water beside our electric bore, i was so happy. So i gave him milk but then he turned his head opposite to me. I left Prince, and then i saw our local breed dog drinking the milk that i gave.

After our dinner, 7.30 p.m, i tried to check Prince on the corner of my brother room, but then something was blocking our screen door, so i kept pushing it, and then i was shocked when i saw Prince, he was in front of our door lying. I tried to call him and i was afraid to touch him because he might bite me. I kicked his body, he was unresponsive and would not even move. I checked his eyes, both eyes were opened, and his position, was that both his lower extremities were separately opposite to each other, while his upper extremities were together and his head was facing our door. Maybe he wanted to tell me that he was really sick, but i felt sorry for him and bad that my other dog died. All that were left in our house were dogs that i really do not like.

I buried Prince, near the open drainage inside our front yard. I do not know what to do. At least Natasha has someone to be with in the other side of the world.

Farewell my big Prince and hopefully you will see princess Natasha in the other side of the world and also that you could play with my in my dreams.

Honestly, i really do not want to see any pictures of my dogs, but i need to face the fact that every one and everything has no infinite life. But you will always feel how awful it is to remember that your favorite pets died.

Tricks: Too Lazy to walk

OH!

Last night, before i closed my eyes, i sang the song Lead me Lord, i think this is the most inspiring music for me, and after that i closed my eyes and then i went to the world of undiscovered dream. I shall call it the world of a dark mist, that only you can see is the things, people or places you wanted to see and the rest is black.

I remembered two dreams i had, but i did not knew what time it was, of course because i am unconscious. The first dream i had was all about my lovely princess Natasha. I saw her running towards me, with her nice nose, beautiful smile, her one sided black spot on her left eye and her tongue was out. She then went towards me,i felt her skin, her furs and i really like hugging her. I missed her, i was only able to play with her in my dream. She was nice, very playful and i like her characteristic, she had this characteristic like mine and she was so sweet. How i wish i could see her all the time in my dream.

The other dream i had, was all about the place, which i could not remember, all i can have in my thought is a falls i think.

I love my dream last night, especially Natasha, i like her so much...

Cheers

Amitraz

I entitled this entry of mine today as Amitraz because this medicine or solution almost paralyzed my dog. No one should be blamed though.

While i was on duty, i asked one of my friend if what is the best solution or shampoo in getting rid of fleas, mice and ticks in my cute dogs skin. She told me that amitraz is one of the best solution that can be used for getting rid of the pests.

When i drove home, i change my clothes and bought some amitraz in Bacolod Animal Hospital in Shopping center (used to be China town or until now i guess). I bought this 15 ml amitraz solution for almost Php 80.00 and there was just a simple instruction in the brown bottle that "dilute 5ml of solution in 1 L water".

After our groceries and dinner in Panaad Park, since it was Panaad sa Negros Week, i hurriedly changed my clothes and then wore some gloves, prepare a 10 ml syringed which unfortunately pricked my thumb and it really bleed. After preparing all the necessary equipments (as if i will have an operation procedure). I called Natasha and with some hesitation to come over me, so i decided to picked her up and then i started applying the solution with my own calculation for 40-50ml of water with 2.5 ml of amitraz. Everything turned out to be okay, so i applied same solution to Prince and little Raffy.

After an hour Natasha opened our door and went to an occupied room which was my room before but nobody sleeps in there anymore, and when i picked her up and put her back outside our door, she was not able to stand up anymore. I was shocked, thinking that my dog will die, so i rushed to my computer and probed for possible side effects of amitraz and i found out that i can cause sedation in dogs and poisoning in cats. At the same time, i found out that i miscalculated the dose, suposedly it should be 0.25 ml of amitraz to 50 ml of water. The solution was really strong that cuased my dog to be groggy for that night.

The following day, i tried to observed my dogs, they are all groggy, and my Natasha was not able to walked straight, and she would always cry and then well have a sudden syncope and stay in the floor for more than 1 minute and thinking that she would really die. I tried to prepare myself that i should accept the fact that she will die, but i also put in my mind that sedation will take 72 hours, so there will be Saturday for the final implication if my cute dog will really die.

It was Saturday, we left Bacolod city, for our family reunion of my mother's side which was Gayares and Gepule. My grandmom was used to be Rufina Gayares, before she got married to my granddad Lumauag. After a day of reunion we went home, and i found out that Natasha was back again to normal activities, so i was so happy.

My dogs were all alive. Weeeeeeeee

Dogs

Well, after spending almost 3 days and 2 nights in Ilo-Ilo City, we went home at around 4.00pm via Weesam and arrived at 5.15pm in my hometown. Nobody fetched us, so instead of taking a cab, we decided to have a jeepney instead, although it took us almost 30 minutes to arrived in my lovely littel castle. Upon entering our gate, i saw my lovely dogs, Natasha and Prince, and hmmm, well let me include little Raffy and his slim mom named Chip (from the cartoon Chip anf Dale). Oh well, when i touched Prince and Natasha, i felt some bumps in their necks and bodies. I got inside our house and went back to them and when i tried to look for the bumpy object, it was all nothing but fleassssssssssssss!!!. The fleas were trying to built castles and villages i guess.

The following day, i tried to get some forceps in my box and wore some sterile gloves, and prepared my dogs together with the kerosone in a cap (to drown all stupid fleas) and some matches for burning those pest after drowning. Boy, when i started picking up all the fleas, it came out with different sizes and different forms. Poor dogs of mine, they were sucking the blood of my dogs and taking all the nutrients, but i was able to get rid of them, some only not all. Until now i am still trying to pick them one by one, until they will all disappear or vanish from my cute puppies, i mean dogs.
