Why men cheat? This is an age-less question that causes a stir with both sexes. Is cheating wrong? Yes, regardless if you're a man or a woman but we still ask why. So we asked men to share with us why some of them cheat and this is what they had to share!

1.  They know they can get away with it

You have allowed this man to get away with cheating and misbehavior and therefore he thinks he's invincible. Getting away with something is almost a self-gratifying experience that often drives them to do it again and again.

2.  Opportunity presented itself

Men by nature are very testosterone-driven creatures who are very visual and enjoy the hunt and the reward they get from successfully hunting. Men are usually doing the pursuing so when a woman takes charge and offers him sex he will be flattered and find it sexy and therefore sleep with the woman, enjoy what was presented to him.

3.  Ego

Men consider themselves the alpha male. Men like their ego stroked. Some feel one woman is not enough. They get sex outside and they feel like king of the jungle; other women on the street gives them sex, wow they think! Often, some men have to compensate for something and cheating allows that. It boosts their ego and gives them a misappropriated sense of satisfaction.

4.  Fear

Fear sabotages and breathes life to those things we don't want. Some men have a fear their partners might leave them so they turn around and do what they fear the most, cheat. When we fear something (being cheated) we feel we are powerless with no control, cheating and undertaking our fear gives us that control.

5.  They have no sex life with you

Men enjoy the act of sex and need that satisfaction. When they're not getting sex or the sex is not enjoyable anymore they will venture outside the relationship to get the sex they crave. Or they feel trapped in a monotonous relationship and they seek a new adventure, a new body, a different sex.

6.  Sex is  taboo, when forbidden it's gratifying

Sex has always been a taboo that's why porn, threesomes or any non-traditional acts of sex are so alluring. We all live with rules and limitations, not having these with sex is gratifying. Anal sex? One of them! Why? Well, it's enjoyable and also because it's almost a forbidden act, not every woman does it.

7.  Curiosity

The thought that the grass may be greener on the other side gets the best of us sometimes. Have you ever been curious about having a threesome? Watching porn? Kissing another woman, why? It's sexy and taboo, we wanna taste & experience it.  Men love the forbidden. When a relationship is stale and the sex is as plain as a slice of white bread they get curious about what's out there. Is the grass greener? The unknown is alluring, it's adventurous.

8.  Revenge

Yes, we know two wrongs don't many it right but when a man's ego has been stomped on sometimes they need it nursed back to health and what better way to feel like the alpha male than by having sex with some woman? When a man has been cheated on that act of dishonesty is often what they want to retaliate with.

9.  Entitlement

Men who are attractive know it. They know what their looks and charms can get them anything and often it's more than one woman. They think they are king of the jungle they have this misappropriated sense of entitlement.

10.  They saw other men do it and think it's ok

Yes, this reason alone sounds so ridiculous but it's true. Simple monkey see monkey do is so true. Some men grew up in a home were cheating was allowed, they were lead to be believe it's acceptable and an example of their manhood. If men are surrounded with infidelity they will most likely try it.

Self-cheater

As I was scanning the photos online and i saw this photo of someone i knew, actually not someone i really knew personally. Let me say, an acquaintance. Then suddenly it came into my mind how hideous people are, not everyone, what i mean is that, cheaters. Why would they hell cheat himself when he knows who he is and what he really wants.

There was a time, when i saw this other person, he was a batch mate of mine in the university of high achievements. He was totally not the so kind of typical normal guy, he had been into the boundary of confusion, and i knew he was different. When i saw him the other time this year, there it was, the girl was almost leeching his body, as if there will be no tomorrow, without knowing that his boyfriend has a boyfriend, and there was this other classmate of mine, where when we were in secondary years, he was not the closet typical guy, he was really, shall i say in a colorful world of another dimension. But then, i just found out, when we met in the city, i was shocked, he was so He-man, but of course you will know that he was just pretending. And i really felt sorry for him and this blind females for staying in that relationship, without even noticing that their man is in love with Adam. What is wrong with these women in this planet, are they really afraid that they will get old single and unhappy, or they just want to have someone with them to call boyfriend. And why is that other people can see the defects of their friends boyfriend and they could not. Afraid of rejection or maybe they are too ugly to find another boyfriend and instead stick to the handsome boyfriend, but having hidden agenda. Life is politics ladies, and life is full of secrets, you think you know all, but you are wrong. Mysteries can only be unfolded once the person who throw the dust of magic of furtiveness will be the one to reveal it. Mysteries will always be a mystery.

Anyway, that was just my opinions, that suddenly came into my mind when i saw the picture of this person. I felt sorry for her. I know that people should be given a chance to change, but drastically, i think it will not happen. It is them, and no one can trim them down. If the person can change them, it will not last, they will always be what they are. Like an ant, no matter how you train them to be a termite, they will always be an ant.

Anyway, i am watching Planet 51 right now, and it is a fun 3d animation. I love it, maybe people should watch this one, so that they would learn how to identify their true self.
