The Rite

I was wrong, i thought this movie will be another uninteresting movie like the Last exorcism. However i was proven wrong, the movie entitled the Rite is one of the best exorcism movies i have seen. Although the story of all exorcism has this way of knowing the weaknesses of the priest or the one that cast the evil spirit away from the person that is being possessed, the movie somehow focuses on the aspect not of the medium or the victim itself but of the faith of the exorcist. It all started with this young adult person who was worrying of not be able to pursue the degree he wanted to have, and having a belief that his father will not spend a single penny for his education who owns a funeral parlor. The young adult decided to enroll himself in the theological college, since the education in there is free and paid by the sponsors. But the real plan of this guy named Michael played by Colin O'Donghue is just to finished the college years and be able to have a degree. So he decided to send a letter to the superior informing his resignation to becoming a priest. On that day of his decision to quit being a priest is also the day of his real goal in life, to become an exorcist. Michael was sent to Rome for 2 months to study exorcism and there he was about to find his faith and he is about to be exposed into the reality of exorcism. He met father Lucas played by Anthony Hopkins, who is an expert in exorcism, on his first day of visit to father Lucas place, Michael witnessed the so called possession of an evil to a pregnant teenage girl named Rosaria. Although, Michael seen that event, he believed that the girl was just suffering a psychological problem known as schizophrenia. But that thought is about to be changed and Michael is about to experience the darker side of his faith.

I won't write the whole story in here, i think you should better watch it, since i have fun watching it with my mum. My mum would even tell me that i used to hear that kind of a voice in your sister's house before. Lolz.

Watch it, and you will love it, unless you are not fond of watching horror and unexplained events in our life movie theme.
