It was on September 24,2009 when we left Bacolod City at around 5.55 pm going to Manila for a seminar on September 25. We arrived in Manila at around 7.00 pm of the same day and took an airport cab and before we checked in, we looked around for a cheaper pension house around malate. Four of us namely Ayen, Con and Maria, had a tiring walked around Malate, we had been to 4 different pension house, and we liked Malate Pension due to its wonderful ambiance and a perfect place to stay in. But we did not stayed in there for our first night, since Con and Maria had been booked in Eurotel, a pension house infront Robinson's Malate... Four of us stayed in one room and after securing a place to stay, we went to Remedios street and had our dinner in there across Socialista Bar. The food in there was really great and very tasteful. Maria and Con ordered pork and chicken barbeque, shrimp sinigang. We were so hungry at that time since it was nearly 12 midnight, and we just ate the foods infront of us, and while we were about to finished our foods, it rained and so we have had no choice but to walk under the rain heading to Eurotel. Our heads were all wets and our pants.
The next day was a little cloudy but no rains yet, so we prepared ourselves for the seminar that was held in Philippine General Hospital (PGH) entitled The ABC of Chemotherapy. We went there at around 7.15 am of September 25,2009 and the seminar really gave us a clearer danger of our work and very informative. We had our membership with Philippine Oncology Nurses Association Inc., but prior to that we went to Malate pension and booked two rooms which were economy room for only 750 pesos with out aircondition with shared bathrooms and very reasonable price for us, and after the four hour seminar in PGH, we went to MOA and stayed there until dinner time. Con, treated us in this Fish and Company resto in Bayview area of SM Mall of Asia (MOA), together with her friends namely Jay, Raymund and Iniaki, i do not know if i got all of these names right. But we went ahead because Maria and Ayen were sleepy, we left Con with her friends in that resto.
