Shows that is R/T Nursing

Well, i just finished watching the three last episodes of Nurse Jackie season 2 and i can say that the last season has some resemblance with House M.D, where Jackie turned out to be more addicted with a drug, which is a little sad, since she had an affair with a pharmacist while things was fine with her family, except from the trouble that her eldest daughter was having.

After watching Nurse Jackie, i find it more interesting to watch more tv shows that is related to my profession. So, i began googling the web and found HawthoRNe, i have not watched it yet, since i am planning to watch it later this afternoon and i will start in Season 2 from episodes 1 to 10, so i will definitely missed the story in season 1.

However, yesterday, as we were having endorsement in our station, i had a time with Kelv and we had this conversation about the shows that has nursing theme, and he mentioned this "Mercy", which i have not heard of and he told me that it was a good show too and totally talks all about nurses. So when i arrived at home around 11.30 in the evening i searched for this and found that Mercy has almost similar story with Nurse Jackie and i read in one website the similarities of the characters and i could say that it is really "almost" the same but somehow different stories when it comes to taking care of the ill patient.

Anyway, i will be watching HawthoRNe in the next 2 hours.

Nurse Jackie

Coning told us to watch Nurse Jackie, it is a tv shows all about the life of a nurse inside out in the hospital. It has some kind of the same concept of House M.D., however this time, the focus is on the life of an ER nurse not of any Doctors.

I was watching the fourth episode of Nurse Jackie season 1 and i was interested to finish all the episode in season 1 since it just started in late 2009. You will learn here how nurses approach Doctors and how issues exist between this two profession which is quite true and it does really exist in the world of Healthcare and i can tell since I am a nurse like Jackie.

There was one episode that i really liked, where nurse Jackie was talking to this first year nurse her name was Zoey (a kinda funny, active, generous lady), where she was so nervous and did not knew if she could do it and told Jackie that "Oh my God! They're healers". A great line that still in my mind, where Jackie told her in response to here statement about the Doctors that "doctors are here to diagnose, not heal. We heal. All saints is in the business of flipping beds", which is totally true and no one can deny it, i hope that many nurses and doctors will be able to see nurse Jackie, so that we,they will know that we work interdependently not dependently to each other.
