2nd day n aus on Flickr - Photo Sharing!


This is my first time to spend summer in australia. the weather was and is kinda weird. due to the reason that it will have a temperature of 18 degree celcius which was cold and now 27 which is hot. at the same time there is still clear shinny sky eventhough it is 8pm. (am using my phone, that is why i do not have so much entry)

Home Sweet Home

I arrived in Manila at around 5 pm of Nov, 3, then i directly went to the International airport, where i stayed there for almost 3 hours, waiting for the next flight going to Melbourne. There was 2 security check, before you enter the boarding area and before you enter the on board area.

We were on board in PR209 of PAL, and i sat on row 33A, which was beside the window. We had dinner maybe at around 10 pm, since i do not have watch with me. I ate, chili pork, and it was good but i was not full enough with the foods. I never slept well on board.


Furthermore, we arrived in Melbourne, at around 7.20 am, local time, and then upon coming out of the plane door, i froze like a water, because the weather was so freezing,eventhough it is summer here. The temperature was 18 degree celcius.

When i reached the immigration area, the lady asked me if i travel alone, i said, come again. hehehe, My ears can't hear well since i have air pressure in both of my ears.

They checked my baggage for foods from Philippines, they only took the Polvoron, since it has dairy products in it, and also my budbud, since it has a leaves. But the lady was so nice to me.


We arrive in Ferntree Gully after 54 minutes, because of the traffic from the city.

Leaving on A Boeing

Today is my day trip to Manila going to Melbourne. This morning i'll be picking up foods in ising's house and then buy some credit for my phone, so that i can activate my international roaming. Maybe at around 1.00 pm we will be leaving the city and head to Bacolod-Silay airport, which would take us more than 20 minutes ride.

My time flight would be 3.15 pm and i'll be arriving at 4.55 pm in NAIA 2, and i'll be staying there for 3 hours and catch for the 8.30 pm flight from Manila to Melbourne and i guess the approximate time for our arrival would be 7.05 am *DST, Victoria, Australia.

I'll update this blog if i have time.

Itinerary

I will be in Australia on November 03,2009, actually i'll be leaving Philippines at around 2030 of Nov. 3,2009 and be in Australia on the following day, since it would be a 12 hour flight from Manila. I am excited with some hesitations of course. This is what they called mixed feeling. I'll be staying there for 89 days since my visa only allowed me to stay for 90 days and no more than that.

I am quiet happy because i'll be celebrating there Christmas abroad and at the same time my birthday, i want to experience my birthday with their Australian day, since January 26 is an Australian day.

I'll update this blog with the event of my journey in Australia.

3-mo-Stay

It was 8.40 in the morning of September 29,2009 when my sister called up. I was sleeping at that time, maybe due to tiredness from Manila. My mom woke me up and told me that my sister was on the phone.

I was a little groogy at that time, i said hello to her, and she told me that the Australian embassy called up and told her that they will only grant me a 3 months visa to stay in Australia for they do not see any reason for me to stay for 6 months. I just said to her okay, since our plan was i will only have a one month study in there and after that i will go back home but i will apply for a job in there after i study and then i will wait for the job employment. That was the most easiest way that we can think of.

Everything was in plan except for the lenght of the stay in Australia. So i won't have my birthday in Australia, maybe i will have my birthday here in the Philippines.
