Well, i first encountered this words when my auntie told my mom to have a diamond peel which was according to her less expensive and she felt good with her skin. I never knew what it was, until my 2007 i had my first diamond peel in one of the derma clinic in our place. It was a little expensive since it cost me 900 pesos for both DP and facial cleaning.
I become more curious about diamond peel because i have so many scars in my face due to pimple invasion when i was in college, i never had pimple when i was in high school. Pimples began their quest in my face when i was in first year college, maybe due to stress and increase of a male hormones.
During my pimple years, i loved to squeeze and pinch it and see blood in my finger tips. It was fun actually, until i became conscious with my skin scars after graduating from college in 2003. I was not so conscious about the way i looked and dressed before, but when i had a love of my life, everything changed.
So i need to compete with the world, and competing means be on top, just a metaphor. Anyway,i had my first session and it felt good, then i had my second, third and i can not remeber if i had forth session, because i stopped due to my hectic life as a nurse. But in 2009, when i realized that DP was really effective because my bulging pimple scars that had two great tiny caves were flattened and now it is an open scar..
So last month i decided to have my other session for DP with facial cleaning and had my second session for this year, i will hopefully have 3rd session before i left Philippines, and maybe continue when i get back here, i really wanted to have my scars faced off. But infairness my scars were lightens and i feel good about it, not waste of money.
Soon i'll post my scarred face before and after DP...
