I attended an interment 2 days ago, it was on April 27, 2009. My mom and aunt woke me up at around 7.30 am. I had a shower and then fixed myself knowing that we will go to Hinigaran. But i was misinformed, we will be following the funeral car from Bacolod to Hinigaran. Prior to that event, we fetched my mom friend, which was her classmate in highschool, her name was Lilian. Then, we went to Rolling Hills Chapel in Lacson street, and while driving on our way to parking area, i saw the procession formation in our opposite road, i told my mom that it might be the funeral car of their Aunt which was the half sister of their dad, her name was Pura Lumauag Gayares, with some hesitation we went to the chapel and my mom stepped out of the car and asked the security guard if the funeral car for Gayares had alrady left, and in fact it did, and it was the funeral car on our opposite road. So i turned my steer going to the other road and trying to catched up with the procession. But we did not follow the funeral car, instead i drove like we were on our way to my mom's hometown, since the roads were not good and there were some road renovations from the end of Villadolid going to the welcome arch of Hinigaran.
Atlast we arrived at the chapel and stepped inside for just 10 minutes and then we went to my 2nd cousin house, which was the house of Terisita Pandan Lumauag. I do not know if what to call her, but she was nice, she told me to get inside the airconditioned room, since it was so hot outside, so with some shyness i went to the room and my cousin Andy was there and later his mom slept inside that room. We had our lunch then at around 2.oo pm we went back to the chapel to follow the interment procession.
To end this, after the burial, we had our snacks, but i did not ate anything since i do not like the snack which was composed of bibingka, mamon, and refresh juice. Not that i do not like the food, i just wanted to drink an iced drink.
It was fun and kinda tiring, we arrived in my hometown at around 6.30 pm and had our dinner in CB.
